Energy Assistance for a Brighter Future
AEOA provides financial grants to be used towards energy costs for residential heating bills. Additional funding is available for crisis situations and energy-related repairs, and resources on energy-saving practices are also provided.
Energy Assistance Program (EAP) Facts
- Renters and homeowners are eligible
- Assets such as the home are not considered in determining eligibility
- Grants range from $200 to $1,400, based on household size, income, & fuel cost
Income Guidelines

Contact us if:
- You move.
- You get an energy shut-off notice or your service is disconnected.
- Your tank is less than 20% and your fuel company requires payment to deliver fuel.
- Someone in your household is 60 or older and you need help paying your energy bills.
- Your furnace/heating system is not working and you own your home. We may be able to help repair or replace your furnace/heating system. Contact us before calling a furnace repair company
- Your utilities are disconnected – There may be financial assistance available to help.
