Supporting Families through Early Childhood Services

Arrowhead Head Start prepares young children to succeed in school and in life beyond school. To achieve this, Head Start programs deliver services to children and families in core areas of early learning, health, and family well-being while engaging parents as partners every step of the way. Arrowhead Head Start programming encompasses Head Start Preschool programs, which serves 3- and 4-year-old children, and Early Head Start programming for infants, toddlers, and pregnant women. Both classroom and home-based services are available.

Our services go beyond early childhood education, offering support in health, nutrition, mental health, disabilities, and family well-being. While our program follows income guidelines, limited opportunities are available for families above the income threshold.

May is Mental Health Awareness Month

Mental health is a critical component of overall well-being that affects various aspects of life such as relationships, careers, and happiness. Mental health is also closely linked to physical health. Addressing mental health needs can significantly improve overall health and well-being. There are many ways you can work towards improving your mental health. Try going for a walk outdoors, spend time in nature, connect with a loved one, journal, stretch, do something you enjoy. Check out the these links for more information and ideas.
