What is SNAP?

The Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), formerly known as Food Stamps, helps Minnesotans with low incomes get the food they need for nutritious and well-balanced meals. Ensuring access to nutritious food while helping to pave a pathway to long-term success.

AEOA provides SNAP application assistance to seniors and other eligible persons in its service area. SNAP is designed to assist low-income families in accessing nutritious food.
