If you lost your primary source of income from any number of personal factors and you must now support yourself and your family, our program may be a great opportunity for you to get back on your feet. One of our experienced Employment Counselors will help you find employment that can support you and your family.

Eligibility

You may be eligible if you have lost your primary income source from any number of personal factors and must now support yourself and your family, including:

• Separation
• Divorce
• Loss of public assistance
• Death or a disability of a spouse or partner
• Loss of public assistance benefits

Eligibility income guidelines are based on a federal formula. Our team is available to help you understand the required income guidelines.

Our Services

AEOA staff will work with you to help you find employment that can support you and your family. We can also assist you in pursuing a GED, diploma, certificate, degree or other training opportunities that will help you develop a career. We may be able to provide funding to pay for housing, transportation, tuition, books, and other education expenses.

Eligible participants may also be eligible to receive services from the Dislocated Worker program, which could include additional assistance with training, transportation, childcare, and housing assistance.
