SNAP-EBT at the Farmers Market 

AEOA supports SNAP acceptance at four area farmers markets: Virginia, Hibbing, Cook, and Tower. We work with Minnesota Hunger Solutions’ Market Bucks and Produce Market Bucks to triple SNAP dollars at the famers markets, up to a $10 match. So a $10 EBT card transaction will give the shopper $30 to spend at the market! Power of Produce

AEOA also supports Power of Produce (PoP) at four area farmers markets: Virginia, Hibbing, Cook, and Tower. The PoP program encourages children and seniors to try more fruits and veggies by giving them PoP tokens to spend each week at the farmers markets. The PoP tokens can be spent on any fresh fruits or vegetables. Just visit the market EBT clerk to pick up the tokens.
