Availability: Itasca, Koochiching, Lake, and St. Louis Counties.

Eligibility: Individuals 55 years or older.  Based upon income eligibility.

Program Description: SCSEP is designed to promote part-time, temporary employment through which program participants are engaged in community service and receive work experience and job skills that can lead to unsubsidized employment.  We believe that older workers provide a valuable resource to the needs of the current workforce.  Through the SCSEP program, we provide employment assistance to our participants.

It is our goal to enhance employment opportunities for older individuals and to promote older workers as a solution for businesses seeking a trained, qualified, and reliable workforce.  Our strategy is to utilize a service approach that can respond quickly and effectively to the changing needs of business.
